Croatia

IMG_3122Croatia is a place I had never even dreamed of going but once I started researching sexy beaches, it wasn’t long before I started hearing the buzz about how beautiful it is and I knew it was a “must do” on my list.  I looked into it and found that not only is it a unique place to visit, it is rich in culture, history and of course great beaches and sexy people. It is quickly becoming a European hot spot and once I got there I immediately fell in love with its beauty and charm.  The people are friendly, the food is good and the scenery is like no other beach I have been to.

Australia

IMG_9220Although there are very few places in the world I wouldn’t want to go…Australia was never very high on my list.  It wasn’t anything personal to Australia or Australians but I had a preconceived notion of it not being very exotic, extremely arid and very rural.  Of course, I had seen pictures of Sydney and heard about the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef but it didn’t strike me as a place that I was inspired to go.  Boy was I surprised when I arrived in Brisbane and a vast array of beauty and adventure was awaiting me.

Turks and Caicos

Amazing, powder soft, white sand beaches, crystal clear turquoise water and friendly people make Turks and Caicos a true island destination.  Also known to the locals as TCI.  It is picture perfect…just like a postcard. More…

Thailand

Thailand is the furthest I have ever been from home and like no other place I have been in my life.  The whole time I was there, I kept asking myself, “Is this what I expected Thailand to be like?”  The truth is, I didn’t know what to expect and the coastline kept surprising me with unique experiences from beauty and awe to shock and amazement.  Luckily, I had a friend along, Playmate Cara Zaveleta, for this leg of the trip to share this exotic adventure with.  And an adventure it was! Spain

Barcelona was our first stop on the trip.  It has the most amazing architecture I have seen anywhere.  The Gaudi Cathedral is unbelievable and looks like an ornate melting candle.  If you go to Barcelona for no other reason than to see the Cathedral you will not be disappointed.  The intricate detail of this work of art is truly unbelievable and you could literally stand in front of the cathedral all day long and still discover new things you hadn’t noticed before.  The food in Barcelona was not my favorite…although other people rave about it…I know I’m a very picky eater and snails, cow face and blood sausage are not things typically on my menu.  However, there are a few culinary things Spain is very famous for that I absolutely loved and that is wine and chocolate!!!  In fact I even had a whole body chocolate massage!!!!  Yummy!!!

SoCal

When I was first told that we were doing Southern California as one of the episodes for the show I was slightly disappointed.  Not that I dislike California at all, quite the contrary, I love it here!  It is my home and I foresee myself living here possibly for the rest of my life but sometimes when you spend a lot of time in one place you can become jaded and forget about all the wonderful things right at your finger tips.  I learned a lot about my community and how much fun I can have right in my own backyard.  Best of all, this is one travel adventure that I got to bring my dog Wednesday on!

Jamaica

I had been to Jamaica once before and although my experience was positive and my memories were fond I didn’t leave there with the desire to go back.  I’m so glad I had this opportunity to go back and really explore this little country because as I found out, once you get away from the luxury resorts Jamaica has so much to offer friendly people, delicious food, gorgeous scenery and outrageous adventures.  Making this one of my favorite places that I have been.  So, my second trip to Jamaica was an incredible experience.  Not only was it action packed and adventurous but I also felt like I really immersed myself in the culture getting to know some of the local people and living the Jamaican lifestyle.

Hawaii

Even though Hawaii is so close to California, I have never been before and I have always felt that it is one of those places that I should have already been to.  So, I was really excited to get to go there and experience what everyone has been talking about all this time.  I got the pleasure to be accompanied by Aureana Tseu, the current Miss Hawaii.  She was very sweet and a lot of fun.  She taught me about her culture, introduced me to her friends and showed me all around Oahu and Kona.  We went on a lot of fun adventures from aerial tours to underwater excursions.  Here were some of my favorites…

Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a prime vacation destination, attracting over 2 million visitors a year.  Costa Rica translates to “rich coast” and it has 762 miles of coastline – Rainforests, Cloud forests, great surf, uncluttered beaches, eco-tourism, adventure tourism, and a volcano!  It is a place I had heard so much about and always wanted to go.  Finally, I was getting my chance!!!  My friend and Playmate Amber Campisi joined me and we flew into San Jose and drove to Playa Jaco.  Playa Jaco is a surf town and their motto is “Pura Vida” meaning the “pure or good” life.  This is a quaint little town with lots of shops, restaurants and cute little beach bars.  We rented quads and drove around the town, stopping to look in shops and eventually making our way to Playa Hermosa.
